Comprehensive technology in modern stadium construction
The overall 41 Olympic projects related with 2008 Olympic Games, represented by the Beijing National Stadium (Bird Nest), offered BUCG a vast stage to develop its core technique in stadium construction field, such as “The research & application of key construction technique in National Stadium steel structure”, “Construction technique of two-way stretching bowstring steel roof truss of Nation Indoor Stadium”, “Research on key technique in Beijing Olympic Basketball Stadium project” which were awarded provincial or ministerial level scientific and technological progress prizes. Relying on these technologies, BUCG obtained 4 Luban Prizes, 3 Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prizes, 3 titles as China new technology on application demonstrate engineering of building.
