Wu Bangguo Visits BUCG’s Aid Construction for Hetian, Xinjiang |

| Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG) is carrying out the reconstruction of Hetian shantytown (Phase 1&2) and the construction of Jinghe Plaza (200,000 m2), both of which are Beijing’s corresponding aid projects to Hetian.
In the afternoon of June 16th, the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Wu Bangguo came to visit the site of Hetian shantytown reconstruction and highly commended BUCG of its elaborate construction and scientific management.
Wu Bangguo asked carefully for the detailed information of investment, construction, cost, materials and local residents’ satisfaction, etc. “Aid construction for Xinjiang is a political project; as BUCG leaders’ requirement, making profits is not the only purpose.” The Project Manager said. “BUCG sticks to politics and makes a great contribution to the nation-building.” Wu Bangguo replied. After the introduction of the works, Wu Bangguo was very satisfied and expressed his appreciation to the quality, progress and site management. “BUCG and BCEG are two famous large construction enterprises of Beijing and both come to Xinjiang for aid construction.
