On the 25th of August, the vocational technology school of BUCG celebrated its 30th anniversary. While expecting a more prosperous future, the school looked back at its 30 years of development and a group of teachers received awards for their various contributions to the school during the celebration assembly. It was attended by Li Zhucheng, Chairman of China Construction Education Association of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Zhao Xiaguang, Director of the Party School Financial Administration Bureau, and Bian Baochi, deputy-director of the supervision division general office, integrated department CCDI. BUCG top management Liu Longhua, Xu Jianyun, Cheng Zhanhua, Yao Guanghong, Li Taixiang, Chen Daihua, Wang Liping and Zhang Jinxun were present at the celebration.

Li Zhucheng, Chairman of China Construction Education Association of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and He Yan, chief of vocational ability construction of Beijing human Resource and social security bureau made respective speech to convey, on behalf of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Human resource and social security bureau, congratulations and greetings to BUCG and its teachers and students. They affirmed that over the past 30 years the school has obtained outstanding achievements in professional education and made great contributions to BUCG’s development as well as to social development. They hope that, under the leadership of the Party committee of BUCG, the school will make continuous reform and innovation and strive for a more glorious future.

Liu Longhua, Chairman of BUCG, expressed BUCG’s appreciation to the leaders from the central government and Beijing municipality for their concerns and support for BUCG’s development. He extended a warm welcome to all honored guests and sincere congratulations to all teachers, students and staff. Liu Longhua said the school has been in accordance with the goal of “serve the company, serve the society”, the motto of “being rigorous, erudite, realistic and innovative”and the spirit of “people-oriented and elaborate way of teaching”since 30 years before. 11500 graduated and were awarded vocational diplomas. The school has trained 80,000 of company leaders, management personnel and urgently needed technical personnel. It has made great contributions to BUCG’s management and technical personnel and important contributions to BUCG’s development and quality promotion of its staff.

Liu Longhua said that compared with the advanced level there was obvious gap and the school had to make quick improvement to meet the overall requirements of the staff looking for better education and of enterprise reform and development. The school would stick to the goal of first-class enterprise providing first-class education to propel its modernization. Mr. Liu also said the school would speed up to convert the way of education development so as to virtually improve education level, to virtually serve for enterprise development and to virtually further reform the way of teaching.
Liu Longhua stressed that as the comprehensive training base of BUCG the school should develop in compliance with its features and closely follow the new 5-year strategy. He required the school to study the characteristics of enterprise-run schools in the new period and enhance the ability in regard of serving for the company and talent development to achieve more success. Finally, at the time of the approaching 27th Teachers’Day, he wished all the teachers and staff a happy and pleasant holiday.
