On 10:23am of October 23, Nanjing Deji plaza, which is 324 meters high that constracted by BUCG building engineering contracting department, the wall concrete casting of the main tower which has 61 floors has been finished through a 18 hours continuous construction by all the staffs. the core tube vertical structure of the main building has been capped, and this is marks that the lable of BUCG has been sticked on the top of the highest building in Nanjing xinjiekou area.

The second phase of Nanjing Deji plaza is 340 meters high, which is located in Nanjing Zhongshan road, it is the highest building that under construction by BUCG. Since this project started in 2007, the project department adhering to the application of high-end technology, new process, and the scientific organization construction of hydraulic climbing formwork, large crane tower and other schemes to optimize and extend this program, and finally the main building standard layer steadily increased 6 to 8 layers per month at the mid and late stages. In the process of underground structure construction, they use topdown construction method to construct 5 underground layers, this is the maximum number of layers constructed building in domestic, and it is the deepest topdown constructin method construction in Jiangsu province that depth of 23.6 meters, therefore, it is accumulated a great mature experience. The BUCG Liu Chunan QC team created a new record that they use the topdown constructin method in the construction process with long steel tube column construction vertical degree deviation not more than 1/600 degrees, and this is the first case carried out in China. At the same time, the application of "integration of piling construction" in the project filled the blank in this kind of field for BUCG. The QC team got the first places of 2009 years excellent quality management team, and won the 2009 national engineering construction excellent QC group, it is the unique QC team won the honor in BUCG in the year of 2009.
Up to now, the core tube vertical structure of the main building has sealed a top, the outer frame structure has been constructed to 57 layer and is planning to construct to 59 layer in order to capping in the early november, and then is the Safety demolition work of the creeping formwork, outer creeping formwork, tower crane and other heavy machinery.
The super-high main tower building construction gained rich technical experience for BUCG on the similar projects, improved the market competitiveness on this kind of program. It is reported that the highest under construction building in Anhui, Anhui international finance center is 249 meters high, which is applied the topdown construction method and creeping formwork in the process of construction, and created a record of build 10 layers in one month.
