Recently, Mr. Li Daosong, General Manager of Overseas Business Department, with China International Contractors Association, led a group to visit Japan. They attended Japanese assignment services promotion activity, Adopting Chinese Government’s Assistance in Japanese Rebuilding after the Earthquake, which was held by the two governments. They reviewed the working and living status of the Group’s labor assignments, and took positive efforts for further expansion of Japanese labor business.
It is reported that BUCG obtained the comprehensive qualification for labor assignment in 2001 that is having the qualification to assign labors in different types of work and industries, which was awarded by Chinese Ministry of Commerce. Till now, our group has send 3500 workers to many countries and regions like Japan, Korea, Saipan, Singapore, Sierra Leone, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Mozambique, Burundi, and so on. The types of work include construction, machining operation, sewing, fishing, cooking, nursing, electrical engineering, and etc. With 10-year hard working, Business scale has rapidly expanded to 500 new workers more each year. A lot of bases were established in many places domestically. Huge network of talents, rich professional experience and good industrial reputation make the labor business of our group rank ahead in Beijing and even in China, and help to enjoy high reputation and popularity in the industry.
Business of skilled trainees to Japan is one of the core parts in Group’s ordinary businesses. In 2002, our group joined in China-Japan Trainee Cooperation Agency. It has already sent 2784 workers to 68 teams till now, and 906 personnel are currently in Japan, distributing in 18 counties. More than 400 workers are dispatched each year in an average. Types of work related are agriculture (plantation and livestock rearing), machining operation, food processing, sewing, manufacture like forming of plastics, construction industry like welding, falsework, doors and windows manufacturing, frame construction, carpentry, and electronics industry like electronic instrument assembling and distribution frame manufacturing.
This delegation was warmly welcomed in Japan. Japanese NHK television and local newspaper media reported news follow-up delegation’s activity, which was broadcasted in news channel of NHK. The delegation learnt that aging Japan relied on importing skilled trainees to solve its labor shortage problem. Its operation is standardized with short cycle, high profit, and in the form of cash. Meanwhile, our group won good reputation locally through nearly a decade of labor assignment business, and has great potential to expand market. This visit leading by Mr. Li Daosong helps to fully understand issues about policies and risk control of sending skilled trainees to Japan, comprehensively strengthen relationship with Japan International Cooperation Trainee Organization, and lay a good foundation to establish a representative office in Japan for the promotion of Japan labor assignment business. Currently, many Japanese units are attracted to our Group to discuss some cooperation matters.(Wang jin)
