Organized by Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao with Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, Hong Kong China-invested Securities Association, Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries, the Listed Companies Association of Beijing, Shanghai Association of Stock System Enterprises, Golden Bauhinia Awards of Chinese Securities was announced in Hong Kong recently. Beijing Urban Construction Investment Development Co., Ltd won the award of the Best Listed Company. Mr. Liu Longhua, Chairman of the Group, Mr. Chen Daihua, vice president of BUCG, and Mr. Li Wen, general manager of the stock company attended this announcement and awarding ceremony.
This activity attracted strong attention of many listed companies and the public after being launched on May 15th. Hundreds of listed companies took part in this activity and accepted online voting and review. And nearly 300 listed companies from Hong Kong and Chinese mainland were selected. The Jury started from the latest financial reports of these companies, and compared them transversally (with the national listed companies) and vertically (with the information of latest 5 years itself). Finally, based on the public voting and the review results of the Jury, ten awards including the Best Listed Company were elected.
The Best Listed Company is the most valuable award in this activity with fierce competition. It is reported that Golden Bauhinia Awards of Chinese Securities was set up by Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao, uniting some securities organizations and economists from Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, like the Listed Companies Association of Beijing, Shanghai Association of Stock System Enterprises, Hong Kong China-invested Securities Association and so on. It appraises and elects all of the listed companies of A-share, B-share and H-share. The activity of this year was the listed companies selection event with largest scale and highest level in recent years, which invited a large number of famous economists, Mr. Long Yongtu, Mr. Lang Xianping, and Mr. Ba Shusong for instance as consultants. It was aimed at presenting development achievements and advanced management experience of listed companies, electing demonstrated listed company and outstanding management personnel in all round and different angles.
