BUCG 2012 Working Conference was held on February 10, 2012 to summarize the work fulfilled in every aspect in 2011 and deploy the new tasks in 2012. BUCG’s staff was called on to cherish still further the stability in the company development and to work with full energy and strong sense of responsibilities. It was required be people oriented, strive in unity, develop in harmony and make progress while ensuring stability, and to strive hard to greet the Party’s 18th Congress and for BUCG’s sustainable stability in development. The conference was attended by Mr. Yu Jianming, Chairman of the board of visitors, accredited by SASAC, BUCG leadership members, directors of the functional departments and key leadership members of the subsidiaries. Mr. Xu Jianyun, secretary of the Party committee and Chairman of BUCG, delivered an important speech. Mr. Chen Daihua, the vice-general manager, gave a report, and the conference was chaired by Mr. Cheng Zhanhua, the vice secretary of the Party committee.
On the conference Mr. Chen Daihua made a report titled to be People Oriented, Strive in Unity, Develop in Harmony and Make Progress while Ensuring Stability and to Create New Record Performance in the Process of Achieving the 12th Five Year Plan (hereinafter called the Report indicating that in 2011 all business targets retained the range of increase and it was a good start for the 12th Five Year Plan. The scope of construction, the principal works, sustained obvious increase; real estate developed rapidly; preparation for the listing of design and consultation were carried on to the full extent; capital management effect was further strengthened; the level of business management was evidently improved; Party construction was also further strengthened. Meanwhile the existing issues and problems were also brought forward.

The Report made an overall work arrangement for 2012, and aimed to achieve the targets of all key projects with every effort; to expand and do better the three main businesses and to improve BUCG’s market competitive strength; to optimize investment structure with investment returns as the core; to further strengthen corporate governance and promote the headquarters’ control ability; to support the development of restructuring subsidiaries and to improve restructuring operations; to be people oriented and maintain the harmonious and stable situation; to focus on ideological construction and make constant progress in Party construction.
Mr. Xu Jianyun, the secretary of the Party committee and the Chairman, pointed out in his speech that in 2011 BUCG made new breakthroughs in production and had maintained and safeguarded the interests of employees, had made a big step forward in management and had improved the ability in maintaining stability, and further strengthened Party construction. He emphasized that BUCG should pay close attention to international and domestic economic changes, and to fully understand the favorable conditions in BUCG’s development and maintain stable and faster development with the fundamental principle of “making progress while ensuring stability” and to stride forward to BUCG’s development targets. Mr. Xu also stressed that BUCG should further enhance enterprise management and Party construction to facilitate harmonious and stable development so as to greet the Party’s 18th congress with remarkable achievements. （Qu Jinhong）
