The Seventh National Excellent Construction Project Management Achievements Release Conference（2012） was recently held in Beijing, and BUCG has been granted three First Class Awards, six Second Class Awards and three Third Class Awards.
It is reported that 400 projects have been registered as candidate by about 330 enterprises and only 278 of them passed the prequalification. Eighty-seven First Class Awards, one hundred and seven Second Class Awards and eighty-four Third Class Awards have been granted to these projects in accordance with their overall performance both in the review process carried out by the Expert Appraisal Committee and in the Release Conference.
The elaborate preparation made by its staff, as well as the support from its leaders lays a solid foundation for BUCG’s success in this assessment. Consequently, three project departments, namely Project Department of A2 Section of the Kunming New Airport Terminal, Project Department of Mechanical and Electrical Installation in the Kunming New Airport Terminal and Project Department of Restoration of Zhengjue Temple in the Old Summer Palace, won the First Class Award. Those awarded the Second Class Award are Project Department of the Third Bid Segment of Fangshan Subway line, Project Department of Anhui International Finance Centre, etc. Furthermore, three Third Class Awards were granted to BUCG’s Project Department of Nanchang Paper Currency Printing Workshop, Project Department of the Entrance/Exit Line of Songjiazhuang Station in BeiJing Subway YiZhuang Line, and the Project Department of Chongqing Three Gorges Migrants Memorial respectively.
