On August 22 construction Fangshan disaster relieving permanent housing was officially commenced. BUCG once again undertook to fulfill this significant task after completed 63% of the transitional housing works in Fangshan District. There are 113022 square meters to be built within a period of 405 days. It is scheduled to be handed over by the National Day of 2013. Chen Gang, the Vice-Mayor of Beijing announced the commencement and BUCG’s General Manager Chen Daihua made a speech at the commencement ceremony.

Phase I of Fangshan disaster relieving permanent housing project is located in Gongzhufen village, Yancun town of Fangshan District with a total area of 205,000 square meters. BUCG is responsible for 113022 square meters, totally 1100 apartments.
On the commencement ceremony General Manager Chen Daihua said: The disaster reliving project symbolized that the home-rebuilding for those with their homes devastated in July 21 massive natural disaster had come to a new stage. In the former July 21 rescuing and relieving BUCG, inspired by passion and responsibilities, built nearly 70000 square meters of housing within 10 days, which went in line with the commission of Beijing municipality that to provide houses for those who lost their homes before August 5. He expressed that BUCG, as one of the backbone company, is earnestly undertaking social responsibilities assigned to state-owned companies while devoting to its own development and BUCG would successfully accomplish its mission by obeying safety, quality and civilized construction rules and regulations, and would provide high-quality houses worthy of the trust of the authorities and the Fangsahn people.
