On September 15th, BUCG’s General Manager Mr. Chen Daihua met a delegation from Ecuadorian Government, which is comprised of the Coordinating Minister of Production, Employment, and Competitiveness of Ecuador, Mr. Santiago Leon, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Embassy of Ecuador in China, Mr. Leonardo Arizaga, and the Commercial Counsellor of the Commercial Counselor's Office of Ecuador in Beijing, Mr. Hector Villagran. Both sides exchanged their views on the infrastructure construction and agricultural processing projects in Ecuador. The General Manager of BUCG’s Overseas Business Department Mr. Li Daosong also took part in the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Santiago Leon made an introduction on Ecuador, including the role Ecuador plays on the development of Latin America and its regional advantages, their foreign economic policy, and the infrastructure construction projects that are in course of construction. Mr. Santiago Leon sincerely invited BUCG to develop its business in Ecuador.

As the General Manager Mr. Chen Daihua said, Ecuador has an important economic position in Latin America, which is one of those foreign markets that BUCG has been paying close attention to, and BUCG looks forward to the further development of the cooperative relationship between the Ecuadorian Government and BUCG, and the establishment of substantial cooperation on adequate projects.
