HUAMU Flower research and development center, managed by Beijing Urban Construction HUAMU Company, at present, is the most advanced flower base in Beijing, which completed the construction and put into use on January 18, 2013.For welcoming the spring, the flower exhibition opening ceremony was held in the same time. The leaders of BUCG, Shunyi districts government leaders and the representatives of design and construction from Holland, Japan and Shanghai attended this ceremony as well.
Beijing Urban Construction HUAMU Company developed this flower base which covers 24,850㎡.It aims to more effective, less energy and low carbon. The base is divided into eight parts, the function mainly for: test research, reproductive system, seed production, potted flower production.
It overall performance improves 10% light transmittance and reduces 10% structural material and increases 13% utilization rate, compares to other greenhouses. In winter heating period, it can save energy by 25%.
This year, it could provide 200,000,000 flowers and plants for Garden Expo, Tiananmen Square, Changan Avenue and parks. This flower base is regarded as the new model of all high efficiency and energy saving greenhouses.（Zhang Luxi）
