On 27^th February, 2017, chairman of BUCG Chen Daihua and deputy general manager Peng Chengjun unveiled for “Technology Innovation Workstation” of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport Expansion and Upgrading Project. The general manager of BUCG International Li Daosong, chief engineer Du Feng and all the management personnel of project department attended the unveiling ceremony.

It is the first time for BUCG to participate in four aspects including international EPC project management, reclamation and revetment works, flight area field works and airport oil depot engineering, which brings lots of challenges for our technical personnel.

The project consists of five major elements: one new type 4F runway for A380 aircraft, including associated navigation and aerial ground lighting systems; aprons on the east and west sides of the new runway and liaison systems connected to runways and parallel taxiways ; new cargo terminal; new oil depot; reclamation and revetment works for the new runway and cargo terminal building . The core technology of this project is the quality control of coral sand reclamation and construction of flight areas and ancillary facilities.

The successful implementation of the project will fill the blanks and enrich the content of airport construction for BUCG.
