On the afternoon of March 30, 2017, general manager of the BUCG International Li Daosong met with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in the Malacañang, Manila, Philippines, and held a friendly talk with him.

The BUCG International prepared a publicity film and introduced the development history and advantages of BUCG, highlight the excellent cases and technical achievements of group company in subway and airport projects, in addition to describing the concept of the airport special economic zones, which was highly appreciated by the President.

The President said that the Philippine government welcomes the comprehensive and in-depth participation of BUCG in the construction and investment in the infrastructure sector in Philippine, and will provide a fair environment and efficient service for BUCG for its business and development.

Subsequently, general manager Li Daosong submitted the letters of interest in Davao City International Airport expansion project, Davao City subway and light rail development project and Manila city subway and light rail development project, and invited President Duterte to visit Beijing Urban Construction Group headquarters and Beijing Daxing new airport projects and subway projects in the future.

Chief of Staff for Philippine President, Minister of Finance and Philippine Ambassador to China attended the meeting.
