On April 12, deputy manager of BUCG International Business Department Luo Wei and director of Addis Ababa Highway Traffic Bureau Professor Solomon signed the feasibility MOU of Addis Ababa BRT project. General Manager of the African Region Department Liu Hui, deputy general manager Deng Kui and He Zhiqiang, Business Manager of Ethiopia Representative Office Gao Yuan participated in the signing ceremony of MOU.

Deputy General Manager Luo Wei introduced the construction and financing ability of the group in the design and construction field of BRT to Professor Solomon, and expressed the willingness and determination to participate in the Addis Ababa BRT system. Professor Solomon said after they contacted with BUCG in January, they did a lot of work in multiple ways via embassy, website and etc., got to know rich experience and performance of BUCG in this field and its powerful financing ability, desired to make cooperation with BUCG, determine technical scheme as soon as possible, confirm project construction price through discussion, sign business contract, and promote matters about the implementation of project financing accordingly. Meanwhile, Professor Solomon said that he wishes that BUCG and Addis Ababa Highway Traffic Bureau could take the BRT project as the starting point to jointly participate in infrastructure construction in Addis Ababa, especially multiple proposed BRT.

After signing the contract, Professor Soloman showed gratitude to BUCG for its active participation in the construction of Addis Ababa BRT project, desired to make cooperation of both parties enter substantive stage as soon as possible. Deputy Manager Luo Wei said that BUCG would fulfill its commitment to the owner with practical action.
