Recently, the 33^rd exchange conference for the release of activity achievements of the engineering construction quality management group came to a successful end. BUCG undertook the demonstration release at the conference with the greatest number of achievements participating in competition and the greatest number of first prize, took the lead in Beijing, and became the biggest winner at the conference.
  At the conference, 484 achievements from 98 enterprises were involved in release and exchange. BUCG selected 85 achievements to participate in competition. Such achievements originated from the project series including Beijing New Airport, Beijing Urban Sub-center, International Beijing Horticultural Exhibition Beijing and etc., overseas projects such as Maldives Airport and etc. as well as key engineering such as security housing, fabricated construction, tunnel bridge, rail transit and etc. With extensive and diversified contents, it has covered various aspects in quality management.
  70 achievements of BUCG won the awards for CategoryⅠ achievements and 15 achievements of BUCG won the awards for CategoryⅡ achievements, in which the award-winning proportion of CategoryⅠ achievements accounted for 82%, ranking top among all the participating enterprises. BUCG set a new record in the number of achievements involved in the competition, and its achievement level has also remained the top level in Beijing for many years. At the closing ceremony of the conference, among the participating groups for 484 achievements, the best QC groups for two items including “Mi Jidong, BUCG Construction Department for China Pavilion of International Beijing Horticultural Exhibition Beijing” and “Good Idea of Yuan Zhaofu from No.5 Company” were selected as demonstration release in Beijing, and BUCG won the special honor once again.
 BUCG has a glorious tradition about QC activities all the time. Since all the units attach great importance to it, QC activities are carried out in a vigorous manner at the grassroots level as a kind of important way of grassroots innovation and total quality management in BUCG. QC activities can be not only taken as a method for the cultivation and exercise of talents, and stimulate potential of all the staff to pursue excellence, but also make technical innovation in an in-depth way. With QC group achievements as the foundation, a large group of manufacturing methods and patents are subject to successful transformation, which has create good economic and social benefits for BUCG.
