Recently, the “Safety Production Month” event of the Maldives Airport and Hydroplane Project Department with “Life first, safety development” as the theme in 2018 was formally launched, for the purpose of creating strong atmosphere for safety production actively, and providing protection for achieving the goal to make newly built runways qualified for flight calibration.

At the launch ceremony, Director of the Project Safety Department Zhang Xufeng announced the launch of the “Safety Production Month” event in 2018, arranged activity contents, and presented specific safety requirements in various work areas of the airport project and the hydroplane project. Project Manager Zhang Fenglin stressed, safety is the top priority. While we make full use of every minute and every second to ensure that newly built runways can be qualified for flight calibration on August 31, we should also establish safety production awareness firmly, remove potential safety hazard in time, and guarantee zero accident. The directors of all the construction units gave active response, undertook to put safety first all the time, make onsite inspection and correction, and completely eradicate the occurrence of safety accident. Finally, all the participants solemnly signed their own name on the banner of “Life first, safety development” respectively to make the commitment.

After the launch ceremony, Project Manager Zhang Fenglin led the team to make a regular weekly major safety inspection, put forward relevant requirements focusing on existing problems on the site, supervised and urged safety production work in a practical way.
