Since its establishment in 2011, BUCG International has closely abided by international policies, adhered to strategic guidance, made precision positioning and steady layout. At present, five regional markets including the markets in Southeast Asia and South Asia, Central Asia, Middle Europe and East Europe, West Asia, North Africa and America, its business has covered 23 countries and regions. As of May, 2018, 33 projects have been completed, 20 projects are under construction, and 13 projects have been completed.

Advance bravely in scorching sun and severe cold

In Maldives near the equator at 40 ° north latitude, under the scorching sun, construction workers of the Maldives Airport Project who worked day and night in the environment with the surface temperature of nearly 60℃still wore long-sleeved clothes and trousers, sweat poured down from their face at the construction site for asphalt paving of runways. The construction site of the reconstruction and expansion project of Maldives Velana International Airport is located at Male Airport Island in the capital of Maldives. The project includes new construction and expansion project such as 4F runways for the landing and takeoff of A280 plane, parking apron, freight terminal, oil depot, apron refueling pipeline and so on.

Since the commencement of construction, the project team has achieved milestones one by one by stages. The just-ended event ““Go all out for 100 days to achieve the goal to make runways qualified for flight calibration” also made all the project personnel full of vigor. So far, in the project, the paving construction of middle surface course with asphalt concrete at the P163-P179 section of the newly built runways has been completed, the paving construction of Taxiway J with water-stabilized coral sand has been completed, 405m embedded pipe has been laid, the paving construction of taxiway link for flight calibration with asphalt concrete, and the paving construction of the bottom surface course at the P179-P185 section of the newly built runways and Taxiway B# are in progress.

In the Maldives hydroplane terminal building project structural construction not far away, 80% structural construction of the hydroplane MRO-HM hangar enclosure has been completed, the installation of steel structure column has been initiated, the backfilling of foundation gravel and waterproof protection layer in the hydroplane terminal building all has been completed.

In the Maldives Ministry of National Defense, structural construction of two-storey office buildings has been completed, the operation of earthwork excavation for the relocation of the municipal rainwater pipeline in the VIP terminal building has been finished. For the newly-commenced apartment building project, the static load test of foundation has been completed as well.

Going northward along the way, from summer to winter, we have gone half way around the world. Although it is already in June, cold wind is still blowing on the land of Kazakhstan. In the place with prosperity as the first one for joint construction of the economic belt on the Silk Road, BUCG’s employees overcame severe cold, fulfilled their duties and responsibilities. The new traffic system Light Rail PhaseⅠ(the road section from the airport to the new railway station) in Astana starts from the international airport in the south suburban area of the city, and reaches the new railway station to the north, which is a main line of rail transit connecting the direction to northeast and southeast. BUCG has undertaken the construction of 13 stations and 13 sections as well as the exit & entrance section line, with a total length of approximately 14.8km. In the station engineering, elevated side station takes the reinforced concrete framework structure with the integration of construction and bridge, in which main structure is subject to cast-in-situ construction and whole-line pile foundation. So far, the construction of 2270 pile foundations has been completed, accounting for 77% of the total quantity;  the construction of 232 pile caps has been completed, accounting for 27% of the total quantity; the construction of 73 pier studs has been completed, accounting for 14% of the total quantity; the processing of 56 pieces of precast box beam has been completed, accounting for 11% of the total quantity.

In the place where the national award was granted, we keep working hard

In Algeria, the birthplace of the first Luban Prize for the project of BUCG International, BUCG keeps working hard on this hot land. The ground concrete pouring in the main pump area of SPI oil pump station project in Algeria has been completed, the construction of indoor ground in 30kv cable trench at the west side and in the transformer room has been completed. The construction of 50% cable trench branches in the neighborhood of control building has been completed, the pouring of seven cable wells in high voltage line foundation has been completed, the pouring of low-span base plate and shear wall in the booster pump and sewage well has been completed.

In Algeria, the construction of 500 sets of commercial housing projects has been almost completed, and it will be totally finished after some improvements. The improvements of 300 sets of houses in the first group of the project of 1700 sets of houses for leasing and sale are almost completed. After cleaning work is done, the structural construction and wall masonry of 600 sets of houses in the second group will be continuously carried out, and improvements of some buildings will be made, earth excavation and structural construction of 800 sets of houses in the third group will be carried out, and masonry will be started in some buildings

The construction of 101 overhaul factory, 102 water pump room and substation has been almost completed, and the inspection and disposal of defects and missing parts are in progress. The base construction of outdoor engineering road surface has been completed, and the construction of well cover and green belt is steadily made. The structural construction of Building 105, 701, 703, 800, 900 in the old completion area of the refinery oil will be completed. The repair, structural construction and outdoor backfilling construction of Building SS23, 24, 41 will be completed.

In the processing factory project of mayonnaise and sauce, the installation of roof panel and wall panel in the production factory buildings and the construction of ground cushion and wall plastering in administrative have been completed; the roof waterproofing in the company building and the foundation construction of interior wall coating material and outdoor oil tank in the technology building have been completed. The construction of strip footing of tuna factory and retaining wall structure has been initiated.

Break open a way through brambles and thorns to go on an expedition in Africa

In the PhaseⅡproject of Sierra Leone Bocheng Water Plant has completed the work contents in JAMA HILL construction area including retaining wall, slop protection with rubbles, guard room and etc.; in the construction area of KANDI HILL, temporary setup and the construction of balanced water tank reinforcing bar and template on the mountain top has been completed. After the design engineer makes acceptance inspection, concrete pouring construction is made; in the pump room and the construction area of power generator room, the site cleaning work has been completed, and construction is arranged as scheduled after formal drawing is issued; in the construction area of exterior line pipeline, construction has been successively carried out according to the issued drawings and the construction task sheet of site supervision engineer, and approximately 5500 pipeline has been laid.

The military assistance project Sierra Leona 1510-Y3 Project steel structure container has been dismantled, we will continuously follow up the matters about customs clearance, and guarantee the completion of the dismantling of other containers arriving at the port. The installation of steel structure framework in the disease control center has been completed, the spraying of fire-retardant coating is started, installation of roof plate is initiated. The jointing of stone masonry retaining wall in outdoor engineering has been completed.

In the maintenance project Benin conference building ,the dismantling of the red hall in SectionⅠ, the blue hall in SectionⅡand the multifunctional hall in SectionⅢ, the setting of scaffold in the red hall, the setting of scaffold in the blue hall, the assembling reinforcement of outdoor flagpole foundation, shovel wall in Section IV, V,  the dismantling of soft packaging on the wall plate in a meeting room which can hold 30 persons or 50 persons, the cleaning of expansion joint on the surface of auxiliary house, waterproof construction, the reinforcement rolling of equipment foundation on the roof of the main building have been completed.

In the Mozambique 5^th Road Project in the south part of Africa, the concrete pouring on the pedestrian has been completed, the paving operation of cement brick on the road surface, the pour soil leveling, grinding and inspection work on Wuyi Road, and the installation of curb have been completed.

Product upgrade covers Nanyang

In recent years, BUCG International has realized the transformation from marketing projects and marketing products, presented the concept of building products, and established more and more diversified product types including “general transportation”, “general municipal construction” and “general public construction” and so on.

With the Southeast Asian market for example, with the Indonesia Balikpapan highway project as the representative project of the “general transportation” project, roadbed filling and excavation construction in some road sections have been completed, the paving of roadbed concrete, the structural construction of box culvert and passages in the area has been completed.

The Cambodian Battambang wastewater treatment project is the “general municipal construction” project signed by BUCG International this year, and construction has been commenced on the site. At present, 50% processing of steel template has been completed, and the processing of 500m box culvert reinforcement has been completed, statistics and filing of template and steel bar processing materials have been made.

The new campus project of BRAC University in Bangladesh is the “general public construction” project undertaken by BUCG International in Southeast Asia in an in-depth way, the construction of concrete pouring towards top beam and retaining wall. Meanwhile, inspection and sampling analysis is made towards diaphragm wall on the site. In May, with increased rainfalls in Bangladesh, there will be thundershower almost every day; with the advent of Ramadan since May 16, local employees will have days off from June 15 to 22 according to local customs. According to the actual circumstances of the project, the mobilization meeting was held on May 30, in which the theme activity “Go all out for 15 days” was held, which ensured the completion of construction goals with quality guaranteed as scheduled.
