On July 1, 2018 (Beijing time), jointly witnessed by various parties including the owner of Astana Light Rail Construction Management Corporation, the general contractor, Chinese supervisor, Beijing Urban Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., the static load test of 30m precast box beam at Bid Section 01 of BUCG Astana Light Rail lasting for two days and one night achieved a complete success, which is a gift presented to CPC on the occasion of her birthday with practical action.

There are 524 pieces of precast box beam at Bid Section 01 of BUCG Astana Light Rail in total. At present, 82 pieces of precast box beam have been completed. The static load test of precast box beam is the quality test of box beam. Whether the certificate of compliance issued locally is obtained restricts the entire engineering progress. Upon the request of the owner of Astana Light Rail Construction Management Corporation, BUCG accepted all the static load test task of beams manufactured at Bid Section 01 of BUCG and Bid Section 02 of China Construction Sixth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd.

Since the Project Department of Astana Light Rail PhaseⅠaccepted the test task, we invested a great deal of manpower and materials, and spared no effort to coordinate with various parties in carrying out work. The successful experiment inspected the construction quality and the design level of box beam, met the demand of the owner of Astana Light Rail Construction Management Corporation on use, laid a solid foundation for follow-up construction and production, and reflected high quality of China construction and BUCG.
