On the morning of December 2 of local time, Chen Daihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of BUCG, visited Bangladesh Maritime University and met with Bangladesh Admiral and President of Bangladesh Maritime University, Mohammed Carde Ikab, and senior officials of the University.

Chen Daihua introduced the performance and strength of BUCG, and discussed the design and hydraulic reclamation about current project of Maritime University with the school leaders. He asked the project team attaches importance to the early stage of the project design, respects for the owners demand, combined with local practice, has a good cooperation with the school team, completes maritime university new campus construction with high quality and high efficiency, contributes to construction of Maritime University, the development of marine economy of Bangladesh, and friendship between China and Bangladesh.

Mohammed Carde Ikab expressed a warm welcome to Chen Daihua and retinues. He thanked the BUCG for its warm reception of the Bangladesh Maritime University delegation in Beijing last month, and introduced the development history of Bangladesh Marine University, the significance of the establishment of the Maritime University and the planning and construction of the Maritime University campus. He thanked the BUCG for attention and support to the project, appreciates the special performance and solid strength of BUCG. He thanked the project team of BUCG for their efforts in the project of Maritime University, and expressed that he will lead the school team to support the work of BUCG as always, and work together to complete the construction of the new campus of Maritime University as soon as possible.

During the meeting, Li Daosong, General Manager of the International Business Division, pledged to continue to do his best to deliver a quality project to the Maritime University, saying that the importance and care attached to the Maritime University project by President Mohammed Carde Ikab and Chairman Chen Daihua had motivated the International to do  the project well.

After the meeting, Chen Daihua and his retinues took a group photo with the President, then visited the memorial hall of Maritime University and left a message on the school's memorial book.
