From November 22 to 28, 2024, Li Weidong, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of BUCG, visited Macao and Hong Kong to carry out business activities and project research. The visit aimed to promote the BUCG's further integration into the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to achieve high-quality development more effectively.

On the morning of November 22, BUCG's first project in Macao-the renovation and refurbishment of the VIP area on the south side of the Macao International Airport's passenger terminal and the corresponding outdoor areas-was officially completed. On November 23, Li Weidong visited the Macao branch for research purposes and received reports on the branch's general profile, market development, and development plans. He acknowledged the achievements made by the Macao branch in recent years and encouraged it to further strengthen cooperation with relevant enterprises in Macao, explore markets in multiple fields, promote economic and social development in Macao, and drive BUCG's high-quality development. On November 24, Li Weidong visited the Third Runway Terminal and Apron Project of Hong Kong International Airport (hereinafter referred to as the Hong Kong Airport Project) for research purposes. On the morning of November 25, Li Weidong and his delegation visited BUCG International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the International Company) to conduct research and receive reports on the work progress. He emphasized the need to seize new opportunities for cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong, leverage the influence of the Hong Kong Airport Project in the region, maintain good client relationships, expand the market in Hong Kong, and ensure the stable development of the International Company.
