Chariman Liu Longhua has signed a memorandum of understanding with Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng on 28^th April 2011, witnessed by Premier Wen Jiabao and Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak. This document is made in propose to improve traffic congestion in Penang island, and BUCG is involved in the designing and construction tasks of three road works which includes a 6.5 km sea tunnel. It is one of those eight major agreements which has been facilitated by Premier Wen in his state visit to Malaysia and it is the first preferential loan project which the company’s international division has own in this target market.
