Batang road project, which is one of the aid project for Yushu in Qinhai, is finished successfully by BUCG after one year construction, which is ready for open now. After this road opened, the traffic between Xin Zhai village and outside will be improved because this road will become the main arteries of traffic in Xin Zhai village.
Moreover, all the road lights are utilizing LED technique and generating the electric power the solar. This design of solar power system is inspired the abundant light supply in local region. It is also appropriately match to the BUCG’s sustainable constructing strategy. Besides, these road lights are designed localized to cater for local culture.
According to the figures, this project is 8.527km long and 20.5 meter wide. This project is next to the north side of mountain and next to the south side of river. There is a 360 meter high viaduct above this road. As the east-west trend project, both way of this road have two lanes and connected the 214 national highways and the Xin zhai village in Jiegu town. （Deng Kui）
