The Phase 2A Project of Tianjin Metro Line 3 constructed by BUCG has recently opened for trial operation. This Project covers a total length of 1450 meters. After the construction is completed, the Metro Line 3 will be operated to run through the four commercial centers of Tianjin, connecting the two principal transport hubs, the Tianjin Station and the Northern Station. Besides, being connecting to each other, the Metro Line 3, together with Line 1 and Line 2, will constitute the principal public transport network of the central city of Tianjin. By the year of 2015, the metro transport in Tianjin is planned to cover a length of more than 240 km, which will become the main means of daily transportation for the Tianjin citizens. (Liang Xingbo)
