Recently, BUCG is awarded the Project of Construction of Water Supply and Waste Treatment Facilities – Bo Lot 1, by Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO) as the Employer. The Project is funded by the African Development Bank with a total contract sum of about 115 million yuan. The major works include the rehabilitation of an existing plant capable of treating 9,120 m3/day of raw water and the construction of a new treatment plant of capacity of 16,240 m3/day, the construction of about 8km long treated water transmission mains and approximately 85km distribution network and the rehabilitation of the SALWACO office in Bo city.
