BUCG’s Emergency Response Team undertakes the Reconstruction Project of Rain and Sewage for Drainage Pipe Network in Central Beijing. Everyday starting from midnight, construction works such as ventilation of sewage pipeline and gas detection are carried out in wastewater sewage about 3 to 7 meters underground. Hundreds of unsung builders are fighting for the smooth flow of the city’s artery under a dark, narrow, dirty and dangerous working condition. (Liang Xingbo)
