In September 25th , 2017, the Beijing Urban Construction Group signed a contract with the owner for the new campus construction project of BRAC university. Groundbreaking ceremony was held at the new campus of BRAC University in September 27th . Ren Zhi, deputy manager of International Department and other members of the project department and Bangladesh representative office were present.
The project is the first project of Beijing urban construction to enter the Bangladesh market, and also the first international bidding project of the international department in Bangladesh market. The construction of the new campus of BRAC University will greatly enrich the local higher education resources, promote the integration and exchange of world culture, and have a profound impact on the higher education in bangladesh.
