On December 7^th , BUCG and Maldives HuLumale housing Development Corporation (HDC) signed the Maldives Airport Economic Zone Development Project to develop a framework agreement with the witness of President Xi Jinping and President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom of Maldives, which is the sole agreement signed by enterprises of two countries in the signing ceremony held in the Great Hall of the People.

The project is located in Hulhumale Maldives. The total land area is about 5.8 hectares and the total construction area is approximately 100 thousand square meters on the ground. The project is to build a complex economic zone which contains commercial shopping centers, airport and air Enterprise Service Center, international trade center, conference, Exhibition Exchange Center and high-end business tourism for supporting the integration.
