On November 18^th , the 2017 "Mediterranean Cup" track and field games was held in the school of hotel management, which is sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Algeria and the Algeria Association of Chinese enterprises. Through the games, each unit promotes healthy living habits, promoting friends between Chinese enterprises and harmonious cultural atmosphere, enriching and activating employees’ spare time and showing a positive sport spirit.

There were 17 units attended the games. Two contestants of BUCG participated in women's 400m, 3000m and men's 5000m. In the race for men's 5000m, Su Hongchang won sixth.
