On October 19, 2023, local time, the 33.95-meter-high water tower roof of the BoBo-Dioulasso Hospital project in Burkina Faso was successfully capped, marking the completion of all main structural construction of the project. The project will build a 500-bed national teaching hospital in Bobo-Dioulasso, the second largest city in Burkina Faso, with a total construction area of approximately 42,000 square meters. It includes buildings such as the emergency department, medical technology building, and ward building, as well as administrative offices, logistical support facilities, and apartments for Chinese medical experts, totaling 17 individual buildings. The project will also provide modern medical equipment and facilities, greatly improving the local and surrounding areas' relatively scarce medical conditions.
