On the afternoon of November 26, a fire broke out in several residential buildings in Wang Fuk Court, Tai Po Estate, New Territories, Hong Kong, causing heavy casualties and touching the hearts of people across the country. BUCG extended its deepest condolences to the compatriots and firefighters who unfortunately lost their lives in this fire, expressed sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and the injured compatriots, and expressed highest respect to the firefighters and all other rescue personnel from various sectors of society.

BUCG was deeply concerned about Hong Kong and fulfilled its responsibilities as a capital state-owned enterprise. It quickly convened its subsidiary, BUCG International Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong), along with Hong Kong-listed companies Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Ltd. and Beijing Capital Jiaye Property Services Co., Ltd., to study assistance measures and decided to donate HK$10 million for emergency rescue and post-disaster recovery of the major fire in Hong Kong, helping affected residents overcome difficulties and contributing the strength of a capital state-owned enterprise to post-disaster rescue and reconstruction.

The BUCG's Third Runway Terminal and Apron Project of Hong Kong International Airport (hereinafter referred to as the "Hong Kong Airport Project") took quick action, carried out volunteer activities, organized project personnel to sign up for blood donation to help maintain the blood supply in local blood banks, and formed a volunteer team to participate in post-disaster rescue in Hong Kong communities. As of now, the total number of volunteers has reached 225. At the same time, the BUCG's Hong Kong Airport Project actively contacted relevant departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Association of Chinese Enterprises, and the Red Cross Blood Donation Station to establish an emergency linkage mechanism, promising to provide continuous support according to actual needs and contribute to the stability of Hong Kong society.

In addition, BUCG comprehensively identified the hidden dangers of projects under construction, carried out special inspections on fire safety hazards at construction sites and office areas, focused on key links such as flammable material stacking, temporary electricity use, and fire passages, and simultaneously improved emergency response plans to effectively strengthen the work safety defense line.
