Research and Application of Key Technologies for Airport Construction by Ocean Hydraulic Reclamation on Coral Sand Islands and Reefs

Relying on the Expansion and Upgrading of Velana International Airport, Maldives, breakthroughs have been achieved in runway foundation treatment of hydraulic reclamation land airports and new hydraulic reclamation land revetment works, systematically addressing the challenge of airport construction by ocean hydraulic reclamation on coral sand islands and reefs. In the project, a vibration rolling method for the treatment of airport runway hydraulic reclamation coral sand foundation has been developed, and post-construction settlement calculation method and deformation control technology for airport runway hydraulic reclamation coral sand foundation have been proposed; a dynamic model of tidal current and sediment in complex terrain of offshore islands and reefs has been established, a multi-scale wave calculation model method has been created, the stable dynamic mechanism and stability conditions of slope revetment structures on steep islands and reefs have been proposed, and the technology for new hydraulic reclamation land revetment works under the geomorphic conditions of offshore islands and reefs has been formed; the cement stabilized coral gravel runway base course and all-coral aggregate unreinforced concrete technology, as well as the open non-cofferdam coral sand hydraulic reclamation technology for offshore islands and reefs have been developed. A total of 31 papers and 2 monographs have been published under the project; 10 invention patents, 19 utility model patents, and 3 Beijing construction methods have been authorized. The project has been awarded honors such as the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in Engineering Construction and the First Prize of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology. According to the evaluation of an expert group headed by Academician Qian Qihu, winner of the National Top Science and Technology Award, the project has reached the international leading level.

Key Technologies and Applications for the Construction of Digital Base Platform for Urban Transportation Planning

The digital decision-making field of urban transportation planning in China has long faced problems such as dependence on foreign professional software and insufficient level of precise application of big data. It is an urgent task for China to develop independent software platforms in this field. With the support of key national, local, and enterprise science and technology projects, the project team has spent nearly 10 years to overcome a series of key technologies such as "individual building" scale population information fusion analysis, mobile location trajectory verification and travel demand chain reconstruction, and spatial data asset management base platform construction, and developed a series of digital software for urban transportation planning. The core technologies of the project have reached the international leading level, and 23 invention patents and 24 software copyrights have been authorized; 46 high-level papers have been published, including 10 SCI papers; 4 monographs have been published, and 7 standards and specifications have been compiled. The developed digital software for urban transportation planning has been applied to more than 100 urban transportation planning and design projects of Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Ltd., effectively enhancing the digital strength of design consulting. It has also been applied in major planning decisions such as transportation planning, TOD evaluation, existing line renovation, and traffic evaluation technical review of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, relevant commissions, offices, and bureaus of Beijing Municipality, and enterprises affiliated to Beijing Municipality, effectively improving the efficiency and scientificity of planning preparation and decision-making, and promoting the digitalization and high-quality development of urban transportation planning in China.

Key Technologies and Applications for Safety Situation Acquisition and Collaborative Emergency Response of Megacity Rail Transit Network Operation

Starting from the major needs of the national industry, the project focuses on the key issues of safety situation acquisition and collaborative emergency response of megacity rail transit network operation. It has overcome key technologies such as high-precision comprehensive situation acquisition of key spaces for road network operation safety based on multimodal fusion, safety situation analysis of large passenger flows in the road network based on state prediction, and quantitative assessment of safety services, and formed an internationally advanced technological system and a series of equipment systems for safety situation acquisition and collaborative emergency response of super-megacity rail transit network operation. The project results have long been used in the network risk monitoring, assessment, and emergency command daily business of Beijing Rail Transit Command Center, providing strong rail transit support for major events such as National Day and Winter Olympics. Furthermore, the results have been promoted and applied to more than 30 cities such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen, as well as international markets such as India and the United States, supporting China's international leading position and independent controllability in this technology field.
