On April 15–16, the “2026 Overseas Contracting Industry Development Conference,” organized by the China International Contractors Association, was held in Beijing. Li Daosong, Deputy General Manager of BUCG Corporation, was invited to attend.

During the conference, the China Overseas Engineering Contracting Development Report 2025–2026 was officially released. Thanks to its overseas operational strength and professional project execution capabilities, BUCG ranked 53rd on the 2025 list of the Top 100 Enterprises in Overseas Contracting; it firmly held the 13th position on the 2025 list of the Top 30 Enterprises in Overseas Contracting for Transportation Infrastructure Construction, and was once again recognized as a “Grade A Enterprise in the Overseas Contracting Industry for 2026,” continuing to demonstrate its comprehensive competitiveness within the industry.
During the conference session titled “enhancing quality and upgrading to create new momentum for industry development in the new era,” Li Daosong delivered a keynote speech titled Upholding Innovation as the Driving Force, Selecting Strategic Business Areas, and Building a Differentiated Competitive Landscape. The presentation focused on three key areas—“Recognizing the Changing Landscape and Gaining Insights into Trends,” “Formulating Strategies and Deepening Reflection,” and “Embarking on a New Journey and Working Together for Mutual Success”—to share BUCG's International Business’s management practices, clearly outlining the company’s development strategy and transformation path amid a complex international landscape.
Under the theme “strengthening foundations, consolidating chains, pioneering innovation, and elevating dimensions—jointly charting a new course for industry development driven by new-quality productive forces,” this conference featured three sessions: “policy interpretation and business analysis,” “fostering new momentum for industry development,” and “innovatively building future competitiveness.” It provided important guidance and valuable insights for BUCG's International Business as it scientifically formulates its 15th Five-Year Development Plan and advances high-quality business development.
