On September 21, Anthony Tan, CEO of the Ministry of Health Holdings (Singapore), and Wong Heang Fine, Chairman of the Infrastructure Development Committee of the National University of Singapore’s Medical Organization, led a delegation to visit BUCG and held a symposium with Li Weidong, Party Secretary and Chairman of BUCG, regarding cooperation in the field of medical infrastructure development. Zhang Suoquan, Member of the Standing Committee of BUCG’s Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Party Secretary of the Project Management Group, along with relevant officials from BUCG’s International Business Division and Construction Department, attended the symposium.

The delegation toured the exhibition hall to learn about BUCG’s business portfolio and development achievements, and the two sides held a symposium.

Li Weidong welcomed the delegation, introduced BUCG’s six major business segments and global footprint, and expressed a willingness to leverage BUCG’s full-industry-chain advantages to strengthen cooperation with the Ministry of Health Holdings (Singapore) and the National University of Singapore’s Medical Organization in areas such as medical infrastructure, smart hospitals, and green, low-carbon hospitals, and to actively participate in Singapore’s public medical projects.

Anthony Tan outlined Singapore’s infrastructure needs and expressed hope that BUCG’s experience in large-scale public buildings and medical facilities would help bring the project to implementation; Wong Heang Fine said he looked forward to deepening practical cooperation between the two parties in areas such as general hospitals, medical centers, and hospital renovation and expansion projects.

The two sides also held in-depth discussions on construction standards, operational models, and other topics, and expressed their commitment to maintaining ongoing communication to jointly enhance the quality and upgrade the Singaporean public healthcare system, thereby deepening people-centered cooperation between China and Singapore.
